THE HILARIOUS FRINGE FIRST WINNING SATIRE COMES TO THE WEST END With TOM BASDEN, ANNA CRILLY,TIM KEY, JONNY SWEET & KATY WIX.
Working out how to change the world can be difficult, but working out why can be almost impossible. Two years after picking up the if.comedy Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe, Tom Basden brings his beguiling and startlingly accomplished Fringe First winning debut play to London's Arts Theatre for a limited West End run.
In a humble garden shed in deepest suburbia, four young idealists have decided to form a new political party to save the world from itself. The new fifth member, Duncan, sets about saving the world from them. Party is about small minds tackling big issues - China, sex trafficking, cycle lanes, unfair trade coffee, whether to call the party 'The Friendly Party' or 'Gladios', and when, exactly, they should break to eat a cake.Recommended age is 14+
