Originally opened in 1991 in the heart of Covent Garden, Christopher’s has established itself as one of London’s original American restaurants. Comprising of three newly refurbished spaces (re-opened in May 2013) that recall the heady-glamour of the Modern American era, Christopher’s brings you a Martini Bar on the ground floor, an elegant Dining Room on the first floor and a secluded Club Room on the lower ground floor for private events.

Housed in a Grade II listed building with an interesting past of its own, including a period as a papier mâché factory and opening in 1870 as London’s first licensed casino, Christopher’s strives to bring you its own glamorous drinking and dining experience.

First opened in 1927 by George Gaudin who had a small snail farm in the basement, the restaurant is one of London's most fashionable and well-established eateries. The ground floor restaurant buzzes with life and excitement, while upstairs the Picasso Room provides a more intimate and discreet ambience for fine dining.

With two Private Rooms they have the flexibility to cater from 10 to 60 people. The function rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors offering complete privacy from the regular diners. The Private Room is elegantly enhanced with high ceilings and soft furnishings while The Barrel Vault Room has a livelier atmosphere and with its unusual architecture and boldly decorated features, it is the ideal venue for pre or post theatre functions.
