‘SINATRA’ RETURNS TO THE LONDON PALLADIUM CELEBRATING FRANK’S CENTENARY YEAR

Tickets are on sale for ‘Sinatra’ The Man & His Music, opening at the London Palladium this July: 65 years since Sinatra’s first concert in the UK, which was also his first anywhere in Europe, which took place at the London Palladium in July 1950. 2015 is the centenary of the great man’s birth.

This extraordinary new multi-media show, which has the enthusiastic support and endorsement of the Sinatra family and is produced in association with Frank Sinatra Enterprises combines ultra-rare and original master recordings of Frank Sinatra’s with cutting edge technology and never before seen performance footage, all accompanied by a 24 piece orchestra and a company of 20 dancers and singers. The show is a celebration of Frank Sinatra’s life and times, to many, the world’s greatest entertainer.

The show will take us from Sinatra’s formative years through the rest of the 20th century and include rare interviews he gave through out the decades. The story of Sinatra’s life unfolds – told by the man himself - as well as his personal family photos and films.

Frank Sinatra Jr said:“2015 is the year of my father’s centennial. One of the most excitingevents we have planned is this London show. My father first played the Palladium in July 1950, so it is fitting that the show will debut in the historicvenue, as London was one of his favourite cities in the entire world. Wehope his many British fans will come and celebrate with us as the magicOl’ Blue Eyes will soon be back in town.”

Karl Sydow, the show’s producer, said:“I’m delighted to be presenting, with the cooperation of the Sinatra familyand FSE, the official stage production for the centenary year of FrankSinatra’s birth. The production will play the leading role in what I am surewill be a year full of tributes to Sinatra. This new production will take fulladvantage of the latest technology, bringing the Sinatra magic into thetheatre in a way that has never been seen before.“
