Our very own Roz Ball was there to celebrate the show's milestone performance last night. Many of the cast, creative team and other wonderful people who have worked on the show over the past decade reunited at the Victoria Palace Theatre for a special event to mark the occasion.
Since Billy Elliot first opened, the show has been seen by over five million people in London, while forty boys have taken on the incredible challenge of playing the lead role in the West End production. With over 500 children having performed in the London show to date, the company have danced their way through over 3,000 ballet shoes.
Billy Elliot the Musical is extending its West End run, releasing over 600,000 tickets and taking booking through to 17 December 2016. Tickets are now available here.
